| Simon Dale, 34, graduated with a first class degree in English Literature and went on to gain a Distinction in an M.Litt. in Creative Writing at the University of St Andrews.
In 1999 he joined Production Base as a recruitment consultant. In 2000, Production Base merged with Internet Content to form Interbase UK Ltd. Simon worked on the front line during the transition from an offline agency to an online service. He worked as Online Services Manager for Production Base until 2003, managing an online database of jobseekers and employers and overseeing a team of support staff.
In 2003 he left Interbase UK Ltd to set up Blue Compass Ltd.
